PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: 7/22/2020

The privacy of visitors to Chief Family Officer (CFO) is important to me.

CFO recognizes that privacy of your personal information is important to you, of course. Any information that you provide to me will remain private. Rest assured that I will never sell your information to a third party.

However, CFO is hosted on Blogger, and you should review Blogger's terms and conditions to determine what information they collect about you, particularly in terms of log files.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Cookies are used to store information, including possibly your personal preferences at CFO.

Third party advertisements support CFO. Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons, which will also send these advertisers (such as Google through the Google AdSense program) information including your IP address, your ISP , the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed. This is generally used for geotargeting purposes (showing New York real estate ads to someone in New York, for example) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited (such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking sites).

You can choose to disable or selectively turn off our cookies or third-party cookies in your browser settings, or by managing preferences in programs such as Norton Internet Security. However, this can affect how you are able to interact with CFO as well as other websites. This could include the inability to login to services or programs, such as logging into forums or accounts.

Note: If you choose to subscribe via email, your email address will be visible to me. I will not share your email address with anyone for any purpose.

Many thanks to Jennifer Slegg for the privacy policy template.

DISCLAIMER/DISCLOSURE

Last updated: 07/22/2020

I created Chief Family Officer to share advice, tips and information because I think others will find it useful. I don't blog in any professional capacity - I have no expertise, only personal experience, so please use your own common sense in deciding whether I know what I'm talking about. If you need further information, consult a real expert! If you are entering a giveaway, please read the Giveaway Guidelines and Disclosures

Disclosure: I receive money for hosting ads via Google Adsense. I am also an affiliate of various programs, including Swag Bucks, Rakuten, Mr. Rebates, MySavings Media, Logical Media, and Brandcycle. Additionally, I sometimes use referral links and monetize links using Sovrn. Occasionally, I accept ads from other sources and review products that I have been paid or given to review.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, you should assume that Chief Family Officer has an affiliate relationship or other material connection to the providers of goods and services mentioned by, recommended, hyperlinked to, or otherwise referenced on ChiefFamilyOfficer.com. In addition, you should assume that I may be compensated monetarily or non-monetarily when you visit, purchase goods or services from, or take any other action on a third-party website mentioned by, recommended, hyperlinked to, or otherwise referenced on ChiefFamilyOfficer.com. Your privacy and time are very important to me; therefore, I am highly selective about the offers I tell you about and try to post only those that are legitimate and worthwhile. However, you should always perform due diligence before buying any goods or services online or offline, as all such actions are taken at your own risk.

Regardless of whether I receive any benefit, I always give you my honest opinion of a product in a review. I also try to be as transparent as possible about whether I receive any benefits. Your trust is very important to me, so if you have any questions, please feel free to email me at cfoblog * at * gmail.com.
