It's finally starting to feel like fall around here, although we are supposed to get temps back up in the 90's toward the end of this week. Crazy, huh? So I'm not quite feeling like soups and casseroles yet, but apples, pears, winter squash, and brussels sprouts are sounding good. On the baking front, I'm planning to make Carrot Cake Loaf, Brownie Spider Web Cake, and chocolate chip cookies.
Last week, I made these Brownie Spider Bites that were a huge hit with the kids:
And here's what I'm thinking for dinners this week:
Monday - Bacon-Wrapped Tofu, rice, roasted butternut squash
Tuesday - Pasta Bolognese, steamed broccoli, garlic bread
Wednesday - Arroz con Pollo, sauteed shredded brussels sprouts
Thursday - Baked Tacos with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and avocado
Friday - Baked Fish & Chips with crudite and Slow Cooker Spinach Artichoke Dip
Saturday - Mummy Dogs, crudite with leftover dip
Sunday - Leftovers
