I remember when the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser first came on the market. Marc immediately bought one to use on all of the dark streaks that had accumulated on the white walls of our house. I started off a skeptic, but was an immediate convert. It worked amazingly.
And it's just gotten better over the years. I received the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Extra Power to try out, and it works great. It removes marker, crayon, dirt, and even stuff you can't identify. I use it to scrub my stove, and it gets off the grease.
My only complaint is about the tiny white bits that come off when scrubbing a rough surface. But they're a small price to pay for a clean surface :)

LOVE these too - I'd heard about the new one, but haven't tried it yet. Do you see it as better? Why? Thanks for bringing these to mind as I need to whip one out today.
Just be cautious when using them on a shiny surface. They can take off the top layer, which removes the sheen. I used one on my old laminate countertop and there was a definate difference in areas that had the Magic Eraser used on them. I won't use it on my new countertops.
It's the only thing that got marks off my walls though, I'll give it that.
I love the Magic Eraser too. It works so well for items.
I use it on my stove top with amazing results! You know, no matter what you do or how careful you are, something pops out or overflows on your stove top and gets heated. This works GREAT for cleaning all that off!!
These are great. My little artist colored all over my walls and nothing worked like the eraser did.
I have always been a lover of the magic eraser but have found that baking soda with a tiny bit of water mixed in works just as well and is a lot cheaper.
I love Magic Eraser for stains on my wall. My parents wood floors, not a great match, I scrubbed away the varnish in my desperate attempt to get a stain out.
Happy new year!
