My Favorite Thing During the Quarantine: Off Air with Joe and Orel

Normally at this time of year, I get to watch the Dodgers play just about every day, and listen to Joe Davis and Orel Hershiser call the game. Joe has done an amazing job of taking over for the legendary Vin Scully, and Orel is humble while still telling great stories from his own experiences. Together, they're fun and informative and so darn likeable.

A few weeks ago, they launched a podcast together called Off Air with Joe & Orel, and I've been surprised by how much I enjoy it. I mean, of course I love listening to them, and their weekly conversations with manager Dave Roberts. But even more than that, it's a connection to one of my favorite things that I don't get to enjoy right now.

If you're a Dodger fan, I highly recommend listening to the podcast. This week's episode featured an interview with Cody Bellinger, and last week, they had Clayton Kershaw on.

If you're not a Dodger fan, it's worth trying to find something equivalent. Maybe you have a favorite show and the stars are doing live videos on Instagram. You could read a biography about someone you admire. Or maybe you can figure out how to make (or order) a meal that has good memories associated with it. Whatever it is, finding something that makes you happy right now can make you extra happy.
