We all survived the first week of school, and I've got some new practices in place when it comes to cooking that I think are going to serve me well. I just need to figure them out a little better and then I can share them with you.
In the meantime, I did get to those spelt brownies - finally! - and they were a huge hit with the kids. (My kids are picky - even brownies aren't a guaranteed hit in this house!)
Here's my plan for this week:
Monday:
Breakfast - Blueberry Muffins
Dinner - Sweet & Sour Meatballs, rice, bean sprout salad
Tuesday:
Breakfast - Breakfast Burrito, Green Smoothie
Dinner - Kalua Pork with Cabbage, rice, macaroni salad
Wednesday:
Breakfast - Cereal, Fruit
Dinner - Summer Farfalle Salad with Smoked Salmon
Thursday:
Breakfast - Breakfast Sandwich, Fruit
Dinner - Turkey Sliders, Tater Tots, some kind of veggie
Friday:
Breakfast - Toast, Fruit
Dinner - Bean & Cheese Quesadillas, salad
Saturday Dinner: Dinner out
Sunday Dinner: Tomato-Crostini Platter, grilled shrimp
