My father-in-law's birthday is at the end of this week, and since the man has everything, the best gift we can give is some good home-cooked food. That means I'll be cooking for sure this week, and cooking double or triple of everything so I can freeze the extras and present them to him this weekend. Then he can eat his gift at his convenience!
Here's what I've got planned:
Monday - Pasta Bolognese, Steamed Broccoli, Garlic Bread
Tuesday - Turkey Meatloaf Burgers, Salad
Wednesday - Three Bean Chili, served with tortilla chips, lettuce, sour cream, sliced olives and veggies
Thursday - BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Sweet Potato Fries, Broccoli Slaw
Friday - Dinner out {I think; if not, we'll have Alton Brown’s Sardine-Avocado Sandwiches}
Saturday - Dinner out
Sunday - Dinner out
