This is a time of year when I find myself unable to resist stock up deals on things like butter and flour. I go through a lot of baking ingredients, and I'd actually had to pay $2.99 for a pound of butter twice while waiting for a deal to come along. This past week, I took advantage of the Mega Sale at Ralphs to get 10 pounds of butter for $1.99 each! Baking doesn't usually help me get dinner on the table, though - those goodies are primarily for breakfast and snacks. Here's what I'm thinking for dinners this week:
Monday - Pizza (grilled, if the weather is good - it's been rainy), using Artisan Bread Dough, salad
Tuesday - Tuna Noodle Casserole, Sauteed Green Beans
Wednesday - Pumpkin risotto with scallops
Thursday - Dinner out
Friday - Breakfast (pumpkin pancakes, bacon, eggs, fruit)
Saturday - ? {not sure what our plans are this day}
Sunday - Dinner out
