I've got some Garlic Confit in the fridge from my Ad Hoc dish from last week (more on that later), so I've scoured the book looking for ways to use it up. I decided on the puree of garlic potatoes and wanted to make the braised short ribs to go with it, but that requires beef stock, which is a big to-do in itself. So I've settled on a relatively simple chicken dish instead. This focus on making new stuff makes the weekly cooking quite fun!
Monday - Spaghetti with Scallops, Sauteed Green Beans
Tuesday - Sauteed Chicken Breasts with Tarragon & Puree of Garlic Potatoes from Ad Hoc
Wednesday - Kalua Pork with Rice & some kind of vegetable
Thursday - Roast Chicken with Flatbread, Garlic Sauce & Butternut Squash
Friday - Breakfast (pancakes, chicken apple sausage, eggs, sauteed cabbage)
Saturday - Dinner out (I'll be making a noodle kugel to take as our contribution)
Sunday - Dinner out
