Some coupon users (like me) prefer to clip only certain coupons, and to leave their coupon inserts mostly intact. If a deal comes up and we need a coupon we haven’t clipped, we can find it by looking at the date of the insert. Every couple of months, I mail my expired coupons off to a military family overseas (they can use expired coupons for six months – visit The Happy Housewife or Coupons to Troops for more info). I used to have to flip through entire inserts to see if there were any unexpired coupons that I needed to clip first.
So I created a list of old inserts that still contain unexpired coupons and now update this list monthly. Remember that coupons can be regional and so you may not have all coupons in your inserts. Subscribe to Chief Family Officer via email or RSS to find out when I’ve updated this list.
