  • Swagbucks: Daily Goal Meter + New Members Get 100 Swag Bucks

Search & WinI keep saying it, but it’s true: Swagbucks is easily my favorite way to earn free money, and right now, they’ve got a fun way to earn bonus Swag Bucks called the Daily Goal Meter. You might have noticed on the SB homepage that there’s a meter on the right side of your page with a number – today it says “70 Swag Bucks.” That means if you earn 70 Swag Bucks today, you’ll get a 10% bonus or 7 extra Swag Bucks at the end of the month. Even better: Reach the daily goal for seven consecutive days before the end of the month and you’ll earn a 25 Swag Buck bonus in addition to your daily bonuses. If you reach the daily goal for all 13 days of the promotion, you’ll earn 100 Swag Bucks in addition to your daily bonuses.

So far, the daily goal has been very doable, ranging from 70 to 90 Swag Bucks. I recommend using a combination strategy of searching and SBTV for your primary methods of earning, plus a few extra Swag Bucks through NOSO, the toolbar, the Daily Poll, playing Games (up to 10 per day, it seems), and codes.

If you’re new to Swagbucks, now a great time to join because right now, new members get 70 additional bonus Swag Bucks when you join here and use code JUNETASTIC – since all new users get 30 Swag Bucks upon sign up, you’ll start off with 100! That puts you well on your way to the 450 Swag Bucks you need to get a $5 Amazon gift certificate.

Plus tomorrow is Mega Swag Bucks Friday – I’ll be rooting for you to hit the jackpot!

Swagbucks Update: New Bonus Registration Code + Dads vs. Grads

As I’ve mentioned too many times to count, Swagbucks is by far my favorite way to earn free money, and right now, they’ve got a fun way to earn bonus Swag Bucks called the Dads vs. Grads Challenge. When you join the challenge, you are randomly assigned to a team of either “dads” or “grads.” As members of each team earn their Swag Bucks, they accumulate as a team total, and members of both teams get bonus Swag Bucks at the end of the challenge – winning team members get 25 SB, and losing team members get 10. Everything you earn from Search, Daily Polls, NOSO, Toolbar, Tasks, SBTV, Surveys, Special Offers and Daily Deals will earn points for your team. You have nothing to lose by joining – basically, you’ll get bonus Swag Bucks just for using Swagbucks as you normally do.

If you’re new to Swagbucks, this is a great time to join because right now, new members get 70 additional bonus Swag Bucks when you join here and use code JUNETASTIC – since all new users get 30 Swag Bucks upon sign up, you’ll start off with 100! That puts you well on your way to the 450 Swag Bucks you need to get a $5 Amazon gift certificate.

Don’t forget that today is Mega Swag Bucks Friday, so get searching – you just might get a huge bonus today! ;)

    Swagbucks Tip: Swag Code Extravaganzas

Search & WinMy favorite way to earn free money online is Swagbucks, which is my primary search engine. But I earn Swag Bucks in other ways, and one of my favorites happened yesterday in the form of a Swag Code Extravaganza. There seems to be a Swag Code Extravaganza every month or two, during which Swagbucks releases Swag Codes throughout the day. If you can get all of the codes released that day, you’re usually looking at an extra 75-100 Swag Bucks, sometimes more. (You enter codes in the box at the top right of the homepage.)

The first Swag Code of an Extravaganza is usually released in the morning via Twitter or Facebook. Remaining codes are released via the blog, toolbar, chat bar, Swidget, and other means. If I’m around my computer and I see a live code, I’ll give you a heads up via the CFO Facebook page and Twitter feed. You can also keep an eye for code alerts on the Swidget in the right sidebar on the CFO homepage, but it hasn’t been totally reliable lately.

At the end of the day, there’s a “big” code with the highest value of the day. Yesterday’s big code, for instance, was worth 20 Swag Bucks. The final code is usually dependent on the codes that came before it. If you managed to get all or most of the earlier codes, you can see what they were by hovering over your name at the top right of any Swagbucks page and clicking on the “My Swag Bucks” link, then clicking on the “Ledger” tab. Once that loads, select “Swag Codes” from the drop-down menu, and apply the day’s date. You should see all of the codes you entered earlier in the day, listed in reverse chronological order.

If you are missing any codes, the best place to go is the Swagbucks Facebook page, and read the posts by others. There are usually lots of questions and answers about the previous codes – enough to be able to figure out what you’re missing.

Swag Codes can you help you accumulate Swag Bucks much faster – and you’ll have the 450 you need for a $5 Amazon gift card before you know it!

Swagbucks Tip: Videos on the homepage

Search & WinMy favorite way to earn free money online is Swagbucks, which is my primary search engine. But I’ve been earning lots of additional Swag Bucks by doing activities other than searching, and I thought I’d share them in a series of tips about Swagbucks. Here’s the first one:

Keep an eye on the homepage for videos to watch.

They’re not always there, but in the center of the newly designed homepage, there are now “postcards” that look like this:

The “postcards” are the widgets under the scrolling banner – the top one in this screenshot says “Special Offers.” Sometimes there are postcards with a video, and watching the video in its entirety will get you 1 to 3 Swag Bucks. It’s a super easy of earning extra Swag Bucks, and there are occasionally many videos to watch. The other day, I watched many videos about Dodge vehicles and earned approximately 20 Swag Bucks. (And when I saw “watched,” I mean I left the video running while I did other things.)

When you supplement the Swag Bucks you win by searching with additional Swag Bucks like these, you accumulate Swag Bucks much faster – and you’ll have the 450 you need for a $5 Amazon gift card before you know it!

So far, the goals have been very achievable (from 50 to 100 Swag Bucks). Here’s a list of my favorite ways to earn Swag Bucks, if you’re looking to earn more each day.
