  • Swagbucks Update: $200 Million by the Numbers + Don’t forget to Spin & Win

    FacebookTwitterPinterest

Digital rewards site Swagbucks just hit a major milestone – they have given their members over $200 million in cash and free gift cards since 2008! I’ve been a member almost since the beginning, and I still use Swagbucks every day (and $7,000+) almost 10 years later!

To demonstrate how big a number 200 million really is, here are some fun facts:

Since $200,000,000 is a huge number, Swagbucks has been celebrating with a “Swago” promotion for the past week! If you’ve been playing, you’ve also been getting spins on their Spin & Win Wheel. Starting at 9am PT/12pm ET today, you can start cashing in on those spins! The wheel will close at 9AM PT/12PM ET on Thursday (9/21).

Every spin on the wheel results in either SB earned, entries into an Exclusive Limited Time Swagstakes or an exclusive Swag Up. Have fun, and good luck!

Note: The SB options on the wheel will credit immediately. The SB you earn from the wheel will not count towards your Daily Goal meter. The Swag Ups will expire 15 days from the time they are applied to your account. Shop Swag Up Bonus: Make a qualifying purchase before October 1st and earn a 500 SB Bonus when your Shop & Earn SB Credits! Manual crediting of SB will not count. SB Local Swag Up: Earn SB from SB Local before October 1st and earn an additional 200 SB Bonus! Manual crediting of SB will not count. Must earn at least 25 SB from your SB Local purchase to qualify for the additional 200 SB bonus.

Swagbucks Deals Update – July 2017

    FacebookTwitterPinterest

You probably already know that Swagbucks is my favorite way to earn FREE money online, and right now, they’ve got quite a few deals going on. Check them out:

Through Sunday (7/16), get a whopping 6% cash back when you shop at Walmart through Swagbucks! Walmart is currently offering huge deals on everything from clothing and jewelry to home electronics, grills, and toys.

Through Sunday (7/16), get 2,300 SB ($23) when you try Hulu for $7.99 – that’s a $15 moneymaker! I did this deal when the bonus was only 1,500 SB and I was thrilled to be able to watch some of my favorite shows, including every single episode of Rizzoli & Isles and the first two seasons of The Librarians.

Through Sunday, collect all 6 of the Easy As Pie Collector’s Bills (winnable only through Swagbucks Search) for a 20 SB bonus!

Through Sunday (7/16), in addition to your regular cash back, get a bonus 100 SB ($1) when you buy a Hotels.com, Delta, Southwest, Groupon, or IHOP gift card via MyGiftCardsPlus.

    My Swagbucks Story

    My Swagbucks Story

Swagbucks asked me to share my Swagbucks story with you, so here it is:

Back in 2008, I followed a now-defunct site that repeatedly mentioned receiving $5 Amazon gift cards from Swagbucks. Intrigued, I checked it out and then joined … yes, nearly 10 years ago!

Swagbucks was so different back then – you didn’t earn points called SB, instead their currency was “Swag Bucks.” They changed the terms a few years ago for legal reasons, and I think it makes things easier and clearer. Each Swag Buck was worth more than the current SB, so you could get a $5 Amazon gift card for 45 Swag Bucks. I’ve gotten so used to how things are now, so it’s weird to go back to my original Swagbucks review and read what things were like in the beginning!

Fast forward through nine years, multiple iterations of Swagbucks, and approximately $7,000 later* … and I still make FREE money from Swagbucks every day. You can read how I earn at least a few SB every day here.

I love redeeming my SB for Amazon gift cards, but you can redeem SB for gift cards to use at Starbucks, iTunes, Target, Home Depot and so many other stores, and you can even get cash via Paypal! Best of all, you don’t have to spend a dime to earn FREE money, and you can do it on your schedule, when it’s convenient for you.

If you’re new to Swagbucks, you can earn up to a 500 SB bonus if you join right now! Earn 300 SB before the end of the month for a 300 SB bonus. Spend at least $25 through Swagbucks Shop and earn the shopping SB before July 1 to get an extra 200 SB. That’s a bonus 500 SB, or a FREE $5 gift card! As always, thank you if you join(ed) Swagbucks using my referral link!

*Swagbucks says I’ve earned 767,864 SB total, but because of all of the changes over the years, I don’t know exactly how much that works out to. But I think $7,000 is a bit on the conservative side!

Happy 9th Birthday, Swagbucks! (Plus earn FREE gift cards with SB!)

    FacebookTwitterPinterest

Swagbucks is turning 9 tomorrow – and as always, they’re celebrating their birthday by giving us gifts!

First up is a Swag Code Extravaganza that starts at midnight PT tonight! Collect all of the codes released between midnight and 5pm PT on Monday, February 27, and earn up to 50 FREE points called SB!

Next up is Birthday Swago. Play Swago (their version of bingo) all day long, filling out squares as you earn points on their site for doing things you already do online. For each square you fill in, you get a spin on their big birthday prize wheel, where you can earn up to 2,500 SB with each spin! Fill up your board and submit your pattern to get even more spins and more chances to win big SB.

Swagbucks: Updated and Honest Review + 500 SB Bonus for New Members

    FacebookTwitterPinterest

    Earn free money with Swagbucks!

I’ve been a member of the rewards site Swagbucks for over eight years now – in internet terms, I think that equates to centuries! An updated review is long overdue, so here goes:

    What’s changed at Swagbucks:
    — You no longer earn “Swag Bucks”; instead you earn “points called SB.”
    — There are many new ways to earn SB.
    — There are over 10 million members – Swagbucks is huge!

What I still love about Swagbucks:
They give away FREE money in the form of gift cards.
    — You can earn FREE money every day.
    — They offer lots of different gift cards as rewards. My favorites are Amazon and Starbucks, but you can choose from almost any store you can think of, plus PayPal.
    — There are lots of different ways to earn SB.

As you might imagine, over the years, I’ve watched Swagbucks change and evolve and grow, but one thing that hasn’t changed is that they really are a way to make FREE money online. As an 8+ year member, I’ve earned several thousand dollars through Swagbucks, all without spending a dime that I wouldn’t have spent anyway. (They have a shopping portal that lets you earn cash back so sometimes I do spend money with them – but only money that I would have spent regardless!)

Swagbucks started out as a search engine, and I still use them as my primary search engine. (You can go here and click the “Learn More” link to find out how to make Swagbucks your default search engine. That way you don’t have to remember to do anything special.) I usually score a search win once or twice a day, which gets me anywhere from 6 to 50 SB.

In just a few minutes each day, you can earn a quick 7+ SB just by checking off the items in the daily To Do List that’s located in the left sidebar of the homepage:

    Swagbucks Review

I also play the free games (at the bottom of this page) to earn 10 SB per day.

    Swagbucks Games

Finally, there’s usually a Swag Code that’s good for at least 2 SB every day – just enter the code at the top of any page at Swagbucks.com where you see this icon:

    Swag Code icon

That all works out to a minimum of 25 SB per day, which adds up to 750 SB every month. That’s enough for a $15 Amazon gift card every two months, or a completely FREE $90 per year.

And as they say in the infomercials: But wait, there’s more!

The “more” in this case is many more opportunities to earn FREE money. You can take surveys to rack up lots of SB if you complete them. (Plus you get up to 1 SB per disqualification, up to 5 SB per day.) You can watch videos while you’re doing things around the house to earn free SB. There are also lots of offers that require a little more effort, such as free trial offers, free memberships, etc.

I wouldn’t recommend Swagbucks as a major income source, but I wholeheartedly recommend it as a way to bring in some totally free money.

And if you’re new to Swagbucks, right now is a great time to join! They’re offering new members 300 SB when you join now and earn 300 SB before January 1, 2017, PLUS a 200 SB bonus when you spend $25 through Swagbucks Shop, on top of the cashback you receive for your purchase.

AND (wait, there’s more!), as a Swagbucks member, if you refer someone who joins and earns 300 SB before January 1, you also get a 300 SB bonus, and if they spend $25 through Swagbucks Shop for the 200 SB bonus, you get that bonus too! You also get 10% of all the SB they earn for life, so theoretically, if your friends are active Swaggernauts, you’ll rack up SB without doing anything.

If the best thing about Swagbucks is that you make totally FREE money, then the second-best thing is that you can do it when you have a few minutes here and there, while you’re doing something else (like waiting in line, using their handy mobile apps), and whenever you want.

As always, thank you if you join(ed) Swagbucks using my referral link!

    Swagbucks: New members get $5!

    FacebookTwitterPinterest

Swagbucks has long been one of my favorite ways to earn free money online, and they’ve made NOW one of the best times to join because they know everyone can use some extra money for the holidays!

In case you don’t know Swagbucks, it’s a rewards site where you earn points (called SB) for all sorts of things you’re probably already doing online, like shopping, discovering deals, taking surveys, watching videos, and more. You can redeem your SB for PayPal cash or gift cards to places like Amazon, Starbucks, and more!

Here’s how to get your $5 bonus:

    1. Sign up for Swagbucks using this link.

    2. Earn 300 SB total before 12/1. You’ll get a $3 (300 SB) bonus for it!

    3. Spend at least $25 through Swagbucks Shop* and you’ll get another $2 (200 SB) bonus on top of the cash back you’ll get from shopping – and you know you’ll be doing some online shopping for the holidays anyway. (*You must receive your shopping SB before January 1 to qualify for the 200 bonus SB.)

A few ways to get that 300 SB before the end of the month:

    • Default your search engine to Swagbucks to increase your chance of getting search wins.
    • Watch free videos while you’re doing things around the house.
    • Complete surveys while you’re watching TV.
    • Complete the daily “To Do List.”

I’ve earned thousands of dollars from Swagbucks over the years, all for FREE! Happy Swagging!
