  • Giveaway: $15 Fandango Gift Card from Jennifer Aniston’s new movie Life of Crime

Jennifer Aniston has a new movie coming out called Life of Crime:

Mickey Dawson (Jennifer Aniston), the wife of crooked real-estate developer Frank Dawson (Tim Robbins), is kidnapped by two common criminals (yasiin bey and Jon Hawkes), who intend to hold her for a $1 million ransom and extort her husband with inside information about his illegal business dealings. But Frank, who is holed up in the Bahamas with his mistress, decides he’d rather not get his wife back, setting off a sequence of double-crosses and plot twists that could only come from the mind of master storyteller Elmore Leonard.

    Giveaway: Malt-O-Meal Prize Pack

    Malt-O-Meal

The folks over at Malt-O-Meal asked me if I wanted to try their cereals, and told me that results of a recent taste test showed that consumers preferred the taste of four Malt-O-Meal cereals over more expensive Post Cereals brands. There are 28 flavor varieties to choose from, and Malt-O-Meal bagged cereals cost less, ounce-for-ounce, than leading boxed brands.

Unfortunately, all of the stores I shop at (and even a few I rarely go to) have all eliminated their bagged cereal options, and I couldn’t find any Malt-O-Meal cereals anywhere. So instead of having my kids try Malt-O-Meal, your kids can. Just use the Rafflecopter form below to enter for a chance to win a Malt-O-Meal reusable bag, and two coupons for a FREE bag of Malt-O-Meal cereal:

Giveaway: MoonPie/First Things First Family Prize Pack

For many families, summer is all about spending quality time together. First Things First (FTF) is an award winning not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They collaborate with and are supported by a broad cross-section of community organizations, groups and individuals. FTF accomplishes its mission through meaningful media messaging and skill building classes.

    Did you know that . . .

    • 24 million children are growing up in homes without their biological fathers.

    • Only 30% of divorces are due to infidelity, addiction or abuse. The remaining 70% of divorces are due to couples feeling disconnected.

    • Couples who manage to devote time specifically to one another at least once a week are markedly more likely to enjoy high-quality relationships and lower divorce rates, compared to couples who do not devote as much couple time to one another.

    • Fathers provide unique benefits to their daughters through their active and positive presence from the time of birth all the way through adulthood.

FTF has put together some videos to help families:
