  • Menu Plan Monday: Week of May 5, 2014

    Last week went better with my focus on prepping meals for the week on Monday. But on Friday night, my kitchen sink got clogged and we haven’t been able to fix it. The plumbing company we use said they would charge $120 per hour over the weekend, or $80 per hour on a weekday. We’ve decided to endure the inconvenience and wait until Monday. We’re hoping we can get an early appointment and have it fixed right away, but there’s always the possibility that they won’t make it out until Tuesday. But I’ve got my fingers crossed.

    In the meantime, however, it makes my meal planning a little difficult. After all, I can’t cook if I can’t wash dishes. So, here is my tentative meal plan, contingent on me having a working kitchen by Monday night!

    Monday – Cold cut sandwiches, crudite, fruit, chips

    Tuesday – Chicken Pasta Salad

    Wednesday – Dinner out

    Thursday – Spanish Tortilla, Salad, Bread

    Friday – Overnight Caramel French Toast, Sausage, Fruit

    Saturday – Dinner out

    Sunday – Dinner out {Happy Mother’s Day!}
