Old El Paso Frozen Entrees Giveaway

Old El Paso is making your favorite Mexican dinners easy for weeknights with their new line of frozen entrees for two. There are eight different flavors of fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas and burritos, all available in the freezer aisle. Choose from:

    • Shredded Beef Burritos
    • Chicken Burritos
    • Steak Quesadillas
    • Chicken Quesadillas
    • Shredded Beef Enchiladas
    • Chicken Enchiladas
    • Steak Fajitas
    • Chicken Fajitas

I tried the Chicken Enchiladas, and was surprised to discover that the heating methods are microwave and oven or just the oven – there’s no microwave only option for “food safety” and optimal texture. I have to say, the texture of the corn tortilla was pretty good – not gummy or rubbery at all, which tends to happen with the microwave. And the enchiladas themselves were also good for a frozen entree, and the portion size was quite generous. Since all you get is the main entree, I do recommend serving it with a salad or vegetable.

    WIN IT!
