  • Top Seven Best Deals This Week: 8/11/2013

    Best Deals of the Week

I’ve compiled best deals available at the drugstores, Target, Ralphs/Kroger, and other stores. I stick to deals that don’t require too many or any obscure coupons, and I try to pick practical items that most people buy at some point.

Use this list to decide which stores to hit this week, based on what you need. You might even use it to decide you can skip shopping for a week, because you don’t need what’s on sale. 1. There wasn’t a register reward on the Cottonelle at my store. Sad, am very low on TP.

      • Chief Family Officer says:

Hmm. I think the RR is an unadvertised nationwide Catalina promo that’s running right now, so I think it *would* produce even if not marked but I can’t guarantee anything.

An alternative idea would be to go to CVS starting tomorrow and get 3 packs of Charmin at $5.99 and 2 boxes of Puffs, and use 3 x $0.25/1 Charmin from the 7/28 P&G. Pay $19.20 and get a $5 ECB back. Works out to $0.39/roll if you get the Basic or $0.53/roll if you get Ultra. I believe they’re double rolls, so a pretty good price, especially if you’re running low!

    2. Thanks for the idea. I am planning on doing that too. I bought the Cottonelle because I thought the RR would come through even though not marked, but it didn’t. The manager usually gives it to me in points if I call him after the fact, he just wasn’t in when I left.

I hate it when that happens! But I’m very glad you have a good manager at your store!
