    Best Deals of the Week

I’ve compiled best deals available at the drugstores, Target, Ralphs/Kroger, and other stores. I stick to deals that don’t require too many or any obscure coupons, and I try to pick practical items that most people buy at some point.

Use this list to decide which stores to hit this week, based on what you need. You might even use it to decide you can skip shopping for a week, because you don’t need what’s on sale. 5. Cheap School Supplies at Staples

This week’s Back to School deals include some 25-cent items at Staples, like 2-packs of Sharpies, pens and notebooks. I’ll be stopping by to pick up some supplies for my kids’ classes, as I like to start the school year by giving their teachers a banker’s box filled with useful items like pencils, paper, glue, tissue and wipes.

    Ends 7/27.

    6. Free Copy Paper at Staples

Staples also has free copy paper this week:

    9. Cheap Glue Sticks at Target

The best price I’ve seen on glue sticks so far this back-to-school season is this week at Target, where 2-packs of Up & Up glue sticks are just $0.25. I’ll be able to supply my sons’ entire classes for just $3 each!

If your child’s teacher prefers Elmer’s glue sticks, Target has 6-packs for just $0.99, which is just a little bit more expensive than the store brand.

    10. Cheap Grapes at Ralphs

Starting Wednesday (7/24), Ralphs will have red grapes on sale for just $0.88 per pound!
