    Best Deals of the Week

I’ve compiled best deals available at the drugstores, Target, Ralphs/Kroger, and other stores. I stick to deals that don’t require too many or any obscure coupons, and I try to pick practical items that most people buy at some point.

Use this list to decide which stores to hit this week, based on what you need. You might even use it to decide you can skip shopping for a week, because you don’t need what’s on sale. This week at Toys R Us, you can get 4 boxes of Crayola Crayons 24-count for $1 (must buy 4 to get that price). There is a limit of 2 offers per customer (so 8 boxes max). This is probably the lowest price we’ll see on Crayola during Back to School Sales season.

    7. Cheap Pencils at Walgreens

We may see cheaper pencils later during Back to School Sales season, but they will likely have lower limits than this week’s deal at Walgreens, where you can buy an 8-pack of Wexford No. 2 Pencils 8-pack for $0.39 with a limit of 6. If your store is well-stocked, they will likely not enforce the limit of 6, in which case you can stock up!

    Ends 7/20.

    8. $0.25 items at Staples

The Back to School deals at Staples this week include glue, pencil cases, crayons, and memo pads for $0.25 each (limit 2).

    1. Venessa says:

I don’t shop at rite aid but I’d really like to get some Clorox 2; can I use the up rewards to pay for another transaction of more Clorox 2 and it still generate the $2 Up reward for that transaction?

      • Chief Family Officer says:

Yes, you can roll the +UP into the same product, but you’ll have to come back the next day to do it b/c +UPs aren’t activated until the next morning. Hope that helps!
