  • Menu Plan Monday: Week of June 10, 2013

    The kids are out of school, and I don’t know whether to be thrilled or terrified yet, LOL. I need to adjust to a new routine when it comes to dinner, since we have a really crazy sports schedule this summer, and I’m not quite sure how to get a handle on it. We’ll see how things go this week, as I get a sense of how long I’ll actually have to spend in the kitchen most days, and what life is going to be like for the next ten weeks! Here is my tentative plan for dinner this week:

    Monday – Bacon-wrapped tofu, rice, sauteed zucchini {and grilled cheese for the kids, who won’t eat this}

    Tuesday – Dinner out? {I think we’re going to be one the road and so will need to find food while we’re out}

    Wednesday – Mini Chicken Meatballs, carrot and cucumber sticks with tzatziki

    Thursday – Mustard-Roasted Fish, some kind of vegetable, biscuits

    Friday – Roast chicken with garlic aioli and flatbread, some kind of vegetable

    Saturday – Not where we’ll be …

    Sunday – Not where we’ll be …

    1. A Slob Comes Clean ( has quite a few ideas for dinners that can be eaten AT the ball park. My kids are not to the point where I’ve needed them yet, so I can’t personally vouch for them, but they look pretty good!
