  • Top Ten Best Deals This Week: 3/11/2013

    Best Deals of the Week
I’ve compiled best deals available at the drugstores, Target, Ralphs/Kroger, and other stores. I stick to deals that don’t require too many or any obscure coupons, and I try to pick practical items that most people buy at some point.

Use this list to decide which stores to hit this week, based on what you need. You might even use it to decide you can skip shopping for a week, because you don’t need what’s on sale.

    1. Cheap Coke at CVS {no coupons needed}

Coke 12-packs are on sale for $2.97 this week at CVS, plus you get a $5 ECB when you spend $15. You should actually be able to buy 5 12-packs for $14.85 and still get the ECB, thanks to the informal 98% rule. So your scenario would look like this:

    Buy: 5 x Coke 12-packs @ $2.97 each
    Pay: $14.85 + CRV
    Receive: $5 ECB
Net Price: $1.97 each before CRV

    Ends 3/16.

    2. Cheap Juicy Juice at Target

Target has Juicy Juice 8-packs on sale for Buy 2, Get 1 Free. If you still have some $1/1 coupons from the 2/10 Red Plum, you can do this deal:

    Buy: 3 x Juicy Juice 8-packs @ $2.49 each
Use: 2 x $1/1 Juicy Juice from 2/10 Red Plum
    Pay: $2.98
    Net Price: $0.99 each

    Ends 3/30.

    3. Cheap Edge Shave Gel at CVS

There is an ECB deal on Edge Shave Gel at CVS this week, and you can get one can for just $0.49:

    Buy: 1 Edge Shave Gel @ $3.49
Use: $1/1 Edge Shave Gel from 3/10 Smart Source
    Pay: $2.49
    Receive: $2 ECB
    Net Price: $0.49

    Ends 3/16.

    4. Cheap Duracell Batteries at Ralphs/Kroger

During the holidays especially, it’s relatively easy to find AA and AAA batteries at a great price. But C, D and 9-volt batteries are harder to find deals on – and yet, you should always have a good supply on hand for emergencies (most large battery-operated flashlights require C or D batteries).

So here’s a great deal you can get at Ralphs and possibly all Kroger-affiliates:

    Buy: 1 Duracell Batteries @ $1.99
Use: $0.75/1 Duracell Coppertop, Ultra Power, Ultra Photo Lithium or Specialty Batteries from 3/3 P&G or Ralphs eCoupon
    Pay: $1.24

    5. Free Banana Boat Sunscreen at Rite Aid

There’s a sale and monthly +UP reward deal that stack this week at Rite Aid, so you can get better-than-free Banana Boat sunscreen:

    Buy: 2 Banana Boat Sunscreen @ $9.99 – $10.99 and B1G1 Free
Use: $1/1 Banana Boat Product Facebook printable
    Pay: $8.99 – $9.99
    Receive: 2 x $5 +UP reward
    Net Price: $1.01 – $0.01 moneymaker

The limit on the monthly +UP reward is reportedly 4, so you could repeat this transaction for 2 more free bottles/tubes of sunscreen.

Note: According to the Rite Aid coupon policy, you can only use one $1/1 coupon with the B1G1 sale.

    Ends 3/16.

    6. $0.46 Kraft Mac & Cheese at Walgreens

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese (in the blue box) is on sale for $0.79 this week at Walgreens (you’ll need a Balance Rewards number to get that price), and there is a manufacturer’s coupon you can use to lower the price even more:

Buy: 3 Kraft Mac and Cheese @ $0.79 each
Use: $1/3 Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinners printable
    Pay: $1.37
Net Price: $0.46 each after coupon

    7. Free or Cheap Bounce Dryer Sheets at Target

This deal is still going on at Target: If you were lucky enough to get the regional Target laundry coupons in the 3/3 Smart Source, you can pick up some free or very cheap Bounce Dryer Sheets.

    Buy: 3 Bounce Dryer Sheets 34-ct @ $1.97 – $2.19 {regular price}
Use: $3/3 Tide, Downey or Bounce products from 3/3 P&G
Stack with: $3/3 Tide, Downey or Bounce produced Target coupon from 3/3 Smart Source
    Pay: $0 – $0.57
    Net Price: $0 – $0.19 each

Since this is a regular price, you have until the coupons expire at the end of the month to pick up your items – which is good, because my store was out of stock for most of last week!

    Ends 3/31.

    8. $0.25 Suave Professionals at Target

Also at Target, there is a new deal for a $5 Target gift card when you buy 4 Suave Professionals Shampoo and/or Conditioner. Stack some coupons, and you get a great deal:

Buy: 4 x Suave Keratin Shampoos or Conditioners @ $3.49 each
Use: 2 x B1G1 Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion or Keratin Infusion from 3/10 Red Plum
Stack with: $1/1 Suave Professionals printable Target Web coupon
    Pay: $5.98
    Receive: $5 Target Gift Card
    Net Price: $0.25 each

    Ends 3/16.

    9. Free Copy Paper at Staples

There is yet another free-after-rebate paper deal at Staples. You should never have to pay for paper for your coupons, LOL!

    Buy: 1 Ream of Staples 8.5″ x 11″ Multipurpose Paper @ $6.99
Use: Free-after-rebate Staples Multipurpose Paper printable coupon
    Pay: $6.99
    Receive: $6.99 via Easy Rebate

    10. Free PAAS Egg Decorating Kits at Walgreens

Buy: 2 x PAAS Easter Egg Decorating Kits @ $0.99 each
Use: $1/2 PAAS Kits Facebook printable
    Pay: $0.98
    Receive: 1,500 Balance Rewards points
    Net Price: $0.52 moneymaker

Note: 1,500 Balance Rewards points is equivalent to $1.50+ when redeemed.
