  • Top Ten Best Deals This Week: 2/5/2013

I’ve compiled best deals available at the drugstores, Target, Ralphs/Kroger, and other stores. You can use it to decide which stores to hit this week, based on what you need. You might even use it to decide you can skip shopping for a week, because you don’t need what’s on sale.

    1. 20% off iTunes Gift Cards at Rite Aid and Walgreens

I never pay face value for iTunes gift cards, and in fact, I try to get at least 20% off all of my iTunes gift cards. Here’s your Rite Aid deal:

Buy: 1 $25 iTunes Gift Card
Use: $5/1 iTunes Gift Card in-ad coupon
    Pay: $20 for a $25 gift card

    And here’s your Walgreens deal:

Buy: 1 $50 iTunes Gift Card
    Pay: $50
    Receive: $10 Walgreens Gift Card

Unless you know you’ll use the $10 Walgreens gift card wisely, your better bet is the Rite Aid deal. 🙂

    2. Moneymaker Stayfree Pads at Rite Aid (ends 2/6)

If you still have the B1G1 Stayfree coupons from the 1/6 Smart Source, you can make a little money on Stayfree pads at Rite Aid through tomorrow (2/6). Here’s your deal:

Buy (2) Stayfree Maxi Pads at $3 each
Use B1G1 Stayfree product from 1/6 Smart Source (exp 2/6/2013)
    Pay $3
    Receive 2 x $2 +UP rewards

Don’t forget that this deal ends tomorrow because of the coupon’s expiration date!

    3. High-value coupon for Mott’s Applesauce Pouches

There’s a high-value printable coupon for $1.10/1 Mott’s Snack & Go Applesauce 4-pack. That’s double the value of the typical coupon for this product.

Through today (2/5), you can get boxes for just $0.90 at Ralphs with the Mega Sale. But even if you don’t have a Ralphs or can’t get there today, you should be able to get a great deal with this coupon.

    4. Capri Sun for as low as $0.49 at Vons/Pavilions/Safeway

Through tomorrow (2/5) and probably through February 12, Vons/Pavilions and possibly all Safeway stores have select Capri Sun varieties on sale for $1.99 per box. There was a B3G1 Capri Sun coupon in the 1/6 Red Plum (expires tomorrow, 2/6), and there is a printable coupon for $1/3 Capri Sun 10-packs. Plus, some Ibotta users have an offer for $1 back WYB Capri Sun Original. And finally, the Catalina deal I mentioned in conjunction with the Ralphs Mega Sale last week is running at Vons. So, to get boxes for as low as $0.49, you could:

    Buy 4 Capri Sun @ $1.99 each
Use B3G1 Capri Sun from 1/6 SmartSource (exp 2/6)
    Pay: $5.97
    Receive: $3 OYNO + $1 Ibotta eCoupon
    Net price: $0.49 each

If, like me, you used up all of your B3G1 coupons and only have the $1/3, you could:

    Buy 4 Capri Sun @ $1.99 each
    Use $1/3 Capri Sun 10-packs
    Pay: $6.96
    Receive: $3 OYNO + $1 Ibotta eCoupon
    Net price: $0.74 each

It’s pretty rare to get Capri Sun for under $1 per box, so both deals are quite excellent.

    5. Free Thermacare Heat Wrap at Walgreens

When I was younger, I thought heat wraps were so unnecessary, but in my “old” age, I’ve come to appreciate them. The nice thing about this deal is that you don’t need any coupons, just a Balance Rewards card (which you should have anyway if you shop at Walgreens at all). Here’s your deal:

    Buy 1 Thermacare Heat Wrap 1-count @ $2.99
    Pay: $2.99
Receive: $2.99 Register Reward (will probably print as $3)
    Net price: FREE

    6. $30-$50 off a Kindle Fire HD 8.9″

Through February 8 or while supplies last, Amazon is offering $50 off Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ 4G LTE when you use promotional code FIRELOVE at checkout. That makes the Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ 4G LTE Wireless, Dolby Audio, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 32 GB – Includes Special Offers $449.

Alternatively, you can get $30 off Kindle Fire HD 8.9″, which makes the Kindle Fire HD 8.9″, Dolby Audio, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 16 GB – Includes Special Offers just $269.

    7. $0.69 MP3s at Amazon

There are 340 $0.69 MP3s at Amazon right now – the selection includes songs from most, if not all, genres.

Through February 10, you can also get 20 Tim McGraw songs for just $0.69 each, including many of his hits like Live Like You Were Dying and Don’t Take The Girl.

    8. $1.05 off Q-Tips at Target

There’s a printable Target Web coupon for $0.75/1 Q-Tips 170-count+, which you can stack with the $0.30/1 Q-Tips coupon from the 1/27 Red Plum to get a total of $1.05 off. Totally Target reports the regular price of the 170-count is $1.97, so it’s just $0.92 after stacked coupons. Some stores might have a higher price (mine probably will), but the stacked coupons should still make for a great deal.

    9. Up & Up Facial Tissues for $0.49 at Target

There’s a printable Target Web coupon for $0.50/1 Up & Up tissues. Some stores carry 100-count boxes for $0.99, making them just $0.49 after coupon. The store nearest to my house doesn’t carry these, but one further away does, so when this coupon is out, I try to get to that one and pick up at least a couple of boxes to donate to my kids’ classrooms.

    10. Pomi Tomato Sauce for $1.25 at Gelson’s

Pomi tomato products come in cartons that are BPA-free. Because of the acidity, it’s difficult to find tomatoes in BPA-free packaging, so this is a great, rare deal if that sort of thing concerns you – and no coupons needed! You can see the rest of the Gelson’s match ups here.
