  • Top 10 Best Deals This Week: 1/29/2013

I’ve compiled best deals available at the drugstores, Target, Ralphs/Kroger, and other stores. You can use it to decide which stores to hit this week, based on what you need. You might even use it to decide you can skip shopping for a week, because you don’t need what’s on sale. Be sure to let me know if you like this list, so I know whether to keep doing it each week!

    1. Kleenex for $0.55 per box at Ralphs/Kroger

There’s a Catalina deal that just started at Ralphs/Kroger stores that pairs up beautifully with the current Mega Sale (which continues through next Tuesday). A Catalina coupon is one that prints at the register, which you can use on your next purchase. Here’s the current Kleenex Catalina offer:

Buy 5, Get $1 off your next order (OYNO)
    Buy 6, Get $1.50 OYNO
    Buy 7+, Get $2 OYNO

    Here’s the best deal:

    Buy 7 Kleenex @ $0.99 each
Note: Must buy 10 participating items to get Mega Sale price
Use 2 x $0.55/3 Kleenex Facial Tissues printable
    Pay: $5.83
    Receive: $2 OYNO
    Net price: $0.55 each

There was also a coupon for $0.50/3 Kleenex in the 1/13 Smart Source. If you use two of those, your net price will be $0.56/box.

    2. Capri Sun for $0.74/box at Ralphs/Kroger

There is another Catalina deal that just started up at Ralphs/Kroger stores that goes great with the current Mega Sale. Here’s the Catalina offer:

    Buy 3, Get $2 OYNO
    Buy 4, Get $3 OYNO
    Buy 5+, Get $4 OYNO

The best deal looks like this:

    Buy 4 Capri Sun @ $1.99 each
Note: Must buy 10 participating items to get Mega Sale price
Use B3G1 Capri Sun from 1/6 SmartSource (exp 2/6)
    Pay: $5.97
    Receive: $3 OYNO
    Net price: $0.74 each

If you buy 5 and get a $4 OYNO, your net price works out to $0.79 per box. I’m buying a bunch of these to donate to various fundraisers at my kids’ school.

    3. DiGiorno Pizza for $1.67 each at Rite Aid

    Buy 3 DiGiorno Pizzas @ 2/$10
Use B2G1 Free DiGiorno Pizzas printable or from 1/27 Red Plum
    Pay: $10
    Receive: $5 +UP reward
    Net price: $1.67 each

This deal is part of a Buy $15, Get $5 +UP reward offer that has a limit of 2, so if you don’t buy any other qualifying products (and you have space in your freezer), you could buy 6 pizzas at this price.

    4. $1.99 or less Instant Video rentals at Amazon

There are nearly 20,000 rentals for $1.99 or less at Amazon Instant Video. You can sort by popularity, genre, reviews, or price.

    5. Cheap Dove Men+Care products at Target

This deal may be regional, but hopefully you can get a $5 Target gift card when you buy 3 qualifying Unilever products. If there are no signs up at your store, but you want to check if a gift card deal is active, scan a qualifying item at the price check scanner. If there is an active gift card deal, that should be mentioned along with the price on the scanner screen.

We had some nice Dove Men+Care coupons in Sunday’s Red Plum, but unfortunately the fine print limits you to two like coupons per transaction (otherwise the deal would be even better). Here’s how you can get some cheap Dove Men+Care:

    Buy:
    2 Dove Men+Care Body & Face Wash Bonus Packs @ $3.99 each
    1 Dove Men+Care Deodorant Bonus Pack @ $3.99

    Use:
    2 x $2/1 Dove Men+Care Body & Face Wash from 1/27 Red Plum (exp 2/24)
$1/1 Dove Men+Care Antiperspirant or Deodorant from 1/27 Red Plum (exp 2/24)

    Pay: $6.97
    Receive: $5 Target Gift Card
    Net price: $0.66 each

Thanks to Totally Target for this deal.

    6. Cheap Q-Tips at Walgreens

Q-Tips are surprisingly difficult to get for cheap (the name brand swabs, not generic ones). So I’m always happy to see a deal on them. This week at Walgreens, you can do the following:

    Buy 1 Q-Tips Cotton Swabs @ $2.99
Use: $0.30/1 Q-Tips Product from 1/27 Red Plum (exp 2/24)
    Pay: $2.69
    Receive: 1,000 Balance Rewards Points
    Net price: $1.69

    7. Cheap Organic Fruit Sauce Pouches at Amazon

Amazon has 24-packs of Plum Kids Organic Mashups in Mixed Berry, Beetbox Berry, and Carroty Chop for just $21.32 with Subscribe & Save. That works out to $0.89 per pouch, which is a good deal for Plum Kids pouches, since they’re organic.

If you’re not focused on organic, you can get a great deal on GoGo Squeez’s AppleMango pouches, which are $28.40 for 48 pouches with Subscribe & Save. That works out to just $0.59 per pouch. You might be able to find them even cheaper at Costco – my store had a 16-count box for $6.99, which works out to $0.44 per pouch.

    8. Free Cepacol at Dollar Tree

    Cepacol

Register and print this $1/1 Cepacol coupon. Some Dollar Tree stores reportedly carry the 16-count boxes for $1, making them FREE after coupon.

    9. FREE Pizza from Papa John’s

Northern Cheapskate explains how to get a FREE pizza from Papa John’s (must enter by 2/2).

    10. $1 off $3+ Up & Up Item at Target

There’s a new printable Target Web coupon for $1 off any Up & Up item priced at $3+. Be sure to take it with you when you go to Target – it’s a great way to get a little discount on something you need anyway. I’ve been known to use it on generic dye-free Benadryl (I stash bottles everywhere since we never know when we’ll need it), bandages (I have 2 little boys – enough said!), and napkins (Up & Up napkins are thin so there are more per package than other brands – that’s really helpful when you’re running low).

    Comments

    1. I love this!! I don’t hit all the stores every week, just the screaming deals. I want to save money, but my time is valuable too.

I am hitting Ralphs for Capri Suns & Kleenex.

    2. Oooh….I like it! One deal I’m considering is the buy 10 quick meal fixins @ Taget get. $5 gift card back. Pasta, sauce, taco shells, beans, all for $1.19 each, $.69 after gift card. There are old el paso coupons an possibly pasta (if I haven’t used ‘em already) qs to sweeten it. I’m considering my senarios.

    3. These lists are great! Is there any way you could include a “print” button so it could be printed? My old eyes have a hard time reading on the screen. It would also be good to be able to print out and have to refer to later. Thanks for all your great tips.
