So I went to Walgreens today to buy cleaning products, specifically scrubbibg bubbles and oxi clean. When i went to check out it wouldn’t use all if my register rewards because they count as coupons and it gave me more than one coupon per item. I was not a happy camper. I still saved 75% off my total cost but it would have been 85%. Grrr.
I’m just guessing what might have happened, but if you have a $1/2 coupon, that counts as two coupons, as it “attaches” to two products in the computer system. So you still need a filler to use your RR – I usually look for what’s cheapest with an in-ad coupon that I’ll actually use, like $0.50 Comet cleanser.
