
It’s weird walking into the grocery stores now because they have winter squash, especially pumpkins, and yet it’s 100 degrees outside still. I’d really like it if fall weather would arrive and stay, so that I can bake and feel more like cooking. At least I’m starting to feel settled into our crazy sports schedule, and trying to use the slow cooker more. So here’s what on tap this week:
Monday – Miso chicken, rice, Japanese-style pumpkin
Tuesday – Soba salad
Wednesday – Dinner out
Thursday – Eggplant Lasagna
Friday – Grilled fish or shrimp skewers
Saturday – Mac & Cheese, salad
Sunday – Dinner out
