Today was my day for running errands and going shopping, and I sure hit a lot of stores. Here’s what I found that I want to pass along:
Gas at Costco was $4.33 for premium. On Monday, I saw that premium was $4.91 in Studio City. Will it hit $5 before the end of summer?
The unadvertised deal for free Crest Complete toothpaste at CVS works great – be sure to buy the 2.7-oz size. I’m seeing reports that it’s $2.87 at most stores, but here in SoCal, it was $2.99 at the store I went to. Regardless of price, it produces a $3 ECB.
Also, at CVS, I got a scanner coupon for $1 off any toothbrush. You can use it on the Colgate 360 or MaxWhite Manual Toothbrush that’s $2.99 and producing a $2 ECB this week to get a free toothbrush.
If you have the Ralphs eCoupon for 2 free reusable bags, today is the last day to redeem the coupon. Also, if you have the $1/1 Barilla printable that was available a few days ago, it scans without beeps on the $0.78 boxes so you might be able to get overage.
At Target, I found 40-count boxes of Finish Gel Pacs and Power Tabs on clearance for $3.24. I use the $0.50/1 Finish Gel Pacs printable to pay 7 cents per pac, which is a great price.
Also on clearance at Target, there were 3-count packages of bonus-size Lysol toilet bowl cleaner for $2.48. Even without coupons, that’s $0.83 per bottle, which is another great price. Clearance deals vary a lot, but it’s definitely worth a look if you’re going to be at Target anyway.
One last Target deal: canisters and boxes of Wet Wipes are on price cut for $1.99. I bought 3, used the $0.75/1 coupon from the 4/22 Smart Source, and received a Catalina coupon for $1/2 Wet Ones. It includes the travel packs and doesn’t expire until August, so I’m going to hold onto it in hopes of a great deal during back-to-school sales. If you don’t have the $0.75/1 coupon, there’s a printable coupon for $1.10/2 Wet Ones.
Finally, the Walgreens I went to was totally out of the 45-count Ecotrin that’s a moneymaker after coupons and RRs this week. Hopefully you’ll have better luck than I did!
