  • Shopping Update: 4/23/2012

Monday is generally my shopping day, so I headed out this morning and made quite a few stops:

CVS – My store carries American Greetings cards, and the shelf wasn’t tagged despite the weekly ECB offer being in the ad. I couldn’t find any cards priced at $1.49, and I had the $2/3 American Greetings CVS coupon so I decided to try the deal with the $0.99 cards and it worked! So, pay $0.97 + tax for 3 cards and get a $3 ECB back. I’d do this deal sooner rather than later since the $0.99 cards could be removed from the deal (they’re often excluded).

Rite Aid – The $2/1 Samy product printable beeped, and the cashier refused to override it so I ended up not getting it. My other manufacturer’s printable also beeped, so I don’t know if it’s that particular store or if there’s something up with Rite Aid’s computers. But this is just a warning that your coupon might beep.

Ralphs – The 8-pack of Powerade was $4.29, so only $2.29 + CRV after the $2/1 Powerade 8-pack digital coupon that was available a few days ago. (Be sure to follow CFO on Facebook to get reminders about the daily digital coupon.) Silk single serve cartons are $1.29, and free after the $1.50/1 printable coupon.

Vons – Maruchan Yakisoba is still $1 (select flavors), so it’s free after the $0.50/1 coupon in the 3/11 Smart Source.
