Note: This summary of deals is based on the ad I get in Los Angeles, where Ralphs stores double coupons up to $1 (one like coupon per transaction). I don’t list all of the deals, only the good ones. I’ve marked what I consider to be stock-up prices with an asterisk (*). It may not be the lowest price I’ve ever seen, but it’s low enough that I think it’s worth buying extra if it’s something you buy regularly.
The gift card deal continues, and it gives you 4 times the Ralphs Rewards points, which is like getting 4% back in Ralphs credit at the end of the quarter. For example, if you buy a $100 gift card, you’ll get 400 points, which is like getting the $100 gift card for $96. Kroger, Green Dot, MoneyPak, Amex, Visa, and Mastercard gift cards are excluded. I love combining this deal with my credit card rewards (as discussed here), because I get back 9% of every gift card I buy. It’s a great way to save money on purchases at Amazon, Target, and other stores and restaurants. The only gift card I don’t buy during this promotion is iTunes, because I can often get 20% or more off (like the Walgreens Black Friday deal, which was like 33% off). I wish Ralphs sold drugstore gift cards, LOL!
