  • Ralphs & Whole Foods Update: 11/7/11

I just got back from a little trip to Ralphs, where I found a few more Mega deals. Mega Sales usually run for two weeks, and these items will remain included, but prices sometimes change with a new weekly sales cycle. These prices should be valid through tomorrow, and then they might go up or down a little starting on Wednesday.

My store was totally out of the Annie’s Homegrown mac & cheese in the mac & cheese section, but I found a variety with bunny-shaped pasta in the organic/special foods aisle that was included in the Mega Sale at $0.69 after discount. So if you’re having trouble finding the regular mac & cheese, swing by the organic foods aisle and look for a pink box.

    Other Mega Sale items include:
Prices listed are after Mega Sale discount

    Kleenex $1.49
$0.50/3 Kleenex Facial Tissue 11/6 SS
    $1.16 each WYB 3

    Some non-Mega Sale finds include:

    Goldfish $1.49
    $0.75/2 Goldfish from Ralphs mailer
    $0.99 each WYB 2

    Kashi Cereal $1.99
    $2/1 Kashi product Recyclebank printable
    $1/1 select Kashi cereal printable
    As low as FREE

    Haribo Sour S’ghetti $1
    $0.30/1 Haribo printable {no longer available?}

Over at Whole Foods, I picked up some organic Arrowhead Mills organic flour for $1 per 2-lb bag. The varieties that are on sale for $2 at my store are Organic Unbleached Flour, Organic Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour, and Organic Yellow Cornmeal. There were a few varieties on sale for $3.50, and some that weren’t on sale at all. Use the printable coupon for $1/1 Arrowhead Mills product to get a bag for as low as $1. You can try stacking with the coupon in the Whole Deal booklet, but my stores never allow it.

This isn’t quite as cheap as you can find Gold Medal flour during baking sales – a great sale price last year was $1.50 per 5-lb bag – but I don’t know if prices will get as low this year as they did last year, since everything seems more expensive. And $1 for 2 pounds of flour is a decent price anyway, and it’s a fantastic price for organic flour.

    1. I had a very successful trip to Ralphs today. Spent $27 saved $70. I found plenty of boxes of Annies Mac & cheese at my Riverside, Ca. I was able to use the Annies coupon available on believeinheroes.org to make it an even better deal. (if u have a hard time accessing that website, I did last night, go to the smartsource website & scroll down & access it via the link.) I also printed my bumblebee coupons from recyclebank, 🙂

    2. scrapper al says:

Another source for flour this week is Sprouts. They have 5 lb bags of Bob’s 2/$6. But you can just buy one bag for $3. They have organic and whole wheat, including pastry flour at that price. Not as good as Whole Foods, but the location may be more convenient for some. Thanks for helping us save!

    3. Have you printed the $1 Kashi coupon? The bar code is missing the beginning compared to other coupons. My cashier had a difficulty scanning it so I don’t know if it is even scanable. Luckily she manually entered the value.
