  • Morning Coffee: $50 Lock & Lock voucher for $23

Daily deal site Plum District has brought back the deal for a $50 Lock & Lock voucher for just $23, or just $18 with sign up credit. I love Lock & Lock products, and used the voucher I bought the last time it was available to buy some glass containers to replace plastic containers, as I’m minimizing the amount of plastic I use for health reasons. (I do keep some plastic around for transporting food – safety is key too!) I do want to disclose that I had a lot of trouble using my voucher from Plum District – apparently they didn’t code it right, but when I finally got through to Lock & Lock, they solved the problem for me in a few minutes. Plum District is a totally legit site (I’ve bought multiple deals from them), but it seems they’ve grown too fast and have minimal customer service, as it took them a full week to get back to me. I don’t think it’s a deal breaker (because this voucher deal is terrific) but definitely something to be aware of. New Plum District members get a $5 credit when you join using my referral link – thank you!

Amazon’s MP3 deal of the day is Suds In The Bucket by Sara Evans for $0.99 (and of course, it’s stuck in my head now).

Amazon’s Instant Video rental of the day is Prom for $0.99 – it’s a Disney movie that’s rated PG, and gets 4 out of 5 stars in 17 reviews. When you rent a video from Amazon, you generally have 30 days to watch it, and 24 to 48 hours from the time you started watching it to finish it.

Amazon’s free Android app of the day is WordWrench Full ($1.99), a word game for all ages that gets 3.5 out of 5 stars in 28 reviews.

Freebies 4 Mom has a bunch of free Blockbuster Express rental codes that are valid through Sunday.

The My Coke Rewards deal of the day is a subscription to Better Homes and Garden for 65 points (usually 133 points). (Via Freebies 4 Mom.)

Remember, Blockbuster change the pricing Plans. $3, $2, $1 Price Plans!

      $3 for first 28 Days releases, $2 for 29 Days to 90 Days, $1.00 for 90+ Days.

The codes counts only for $1.00 off or free rentals after 90+ Days.

    2. I love Lock & Lock. I bought a voucher earlier this year, back when you first recommended it, and was so impressed that I bought another when it was offered again. Their shipping is great — everything is well packaged. Most important for me are the lids. They are very sturdy, much better than the cheap plastic lids that come with glass sets from brands like Anchor or what you find in Costco.

Yes! That’s why I love Lock & Lock too – the lids are sturdy and they really stay on. So glad you’re happy too :)

    3. I bought the Lock & Lock deal last time. I got lots of stuff and loved it all but didn’t get a couple things I ordered. Lock & Lock customer service never answered the emails I sent so that was a bit of a bummer. With that being said.. I’ll probably buy the voucher again anyway.

I had to call multiple times before I finally got through to someone, but once I did, they were pretty great. I would call, and keep calling – it’s not fair you didn’t get what you paid for!
