I was given a code so I could preview the latest installment in Walmart and P&G’s family movie night series, “Game Time: Tackling the Past,” and I thought that this final week of vacation would be the perfect time to watch the movie. But it’s been a ridiculously crazy week, and I haven’t had the chance. So all I know about the movie is that it’s about a pro football star who has to choose between continuing his Hall-of-Fame-track career or being with the people he loves in his small hometown, and that the stars include Catherine Hicks (of “Seventh Heaven,” although my favorite role of hers was the marine biologist in the fourth Star Trek movie) and Beau Bridges. “Game Time: Tackling the Past” premieres tomorrow (9/3) at 8/7c on NBC.
Amazon is offering a very pretty Interchangeable Freshwater Pearl Necklace Set for just $14.99 ($57 value) – it comes with 7 different colored pearl pendants so you can switch them out to match your outfit.
Also at Amazon: individual packets of Justin’s Organic Honey Peanut Butter for $0.40 each when you use code JUSTINB7 and order through Subscribe & Save (you’ll pay $11.92 for 30 packets). These would be great with crackers for a school snack or lunch, and I’m loving these packets because it’s a relatively safe way to keep a peanut product in the house (since I have to worry about food allergies, I keep “unsafe” foods in a hard-sided cooler in the kitchen and limit them to individually packaged items).
