  • Evening Roundup: Halloween Costume deals

Walmart is reportedly offering free shipping on all Halloween costumes, which start as low as $9.88. That could make for an awesome deal, considering I just paid $30 each for my kids’ Halloween costumes (The Dark Knight & Captain America). I’m okay with the cost because they get loads of pretend play out of their costumes (yes, they’re already wearing them!), but I have to say, these costumes are not well-made enough to justify the cost (which was after discounts). Go through Ebates or Mr. Rebates to get 2% cash back.

Daily deal site Zulily has Halloween costumes for babies and toddlers for around $12.99. They carry higher end items so hopefully you won’t have to share my complaint about low quality! (Though for baby boys, I recommend superhero pajamas as a costume – they’re fairly comfortable, look great, cheap and re-wearable!)
