  • Evening Roundup: Still learning WordPress

I’ve been doing pretty well with the switch to WordPress but obviously I have a lot to learn still, as I just lost the entire post that I’d been working on for the last hour. I’m just going to post a quick roundup now, so I can get to bed! has new coupons for $1/1 Johnson’s Baby Powder and $1.50/1 Starbucks Natural Fusions.

Get a printable coupon for $1/2 Vanity Fair napkins via Free Coupon Alerts. Use it at Walgreens, where the 100-count packages are on sale Buy One, Get One Free. They’re $3.49 at my store (but probably lower at most other other stores), so just $2.49 after coupon – that’s a decent price for “fancier” napkins. I picked up a couple of packages today since we’re having company over on Labor Day.

Recyclebank has new Suave coupons, and the $1/2 Bumblebee products and $2/1 Kashi product coupons are still discounted. You can also still take the Green Your School Year Challenge to earn around 100 points if you haven’t already (look for it under the “Earn Points” tab).

Amazon is offering a free MP3 download of a 5-song Sesame Street sampler.

Wild for Wags reports that you can get Tide for $2.20 per bottle after coupons and Register Reawrds at Walgreens this week – I think that’s the lowest price I’ve ever seen on Tide. Other brands will go a little lower, but not Tide!

    1. I did that! You have to actually SAVE it as a draft unlike Blogger, which did it automatically for you. 🙂 At least, that’s what I did.

Yes, the affirmative save is definitely something I have to get used to. I have to say, for most of the actual writing, I prefer Blogger – shortcuts work a lot better in Blogger, for one thing!

    2. I actually just finished up a WordPress tutorial. Let me know if you’d like a sneak peak 🙂
