  • Back to School Review & Giveaway: Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes

When the folks at Wet Ones asked me to review and host a giveaway of Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes, I happily agreed. These wipes are awesome – they kill 99.9% of germs but are gentle on hands, so I use them all the time. I wouldn’t say I’m overly paranoid about germs, but I’m a strong believer in preventive practices and hand-washing isn’t always an available option.

I keep a canister of Wet Ones in the car, where we use them daily – after coming out of a store, playing at the park, and so on. Travel packs go in my purse or pocket – and come out when we’re sitting down to eat outside of our home. The individual packets go into school lunches. I love that there’s enough room around the edges so that I can start the tear for my little one, who can then rip it open on his own when he needs it.

To help teach children and families about the importance of clean hands and preventing the spread of germs, Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes has teamed up with renowned science educator Bill Nye to teach families about germs in a fun and interactive way at Wet Ones Healthy Hands Zone. There are videos of his germ experiment demonstrations, and downloadable instructions for doing your own germ experiments at home.

You can also get flu prevention tips from Dr. William Sears (who wrote all those baby books you turned to when your first child was born – I actually have a friend who was so worried about her baby that she had a consultation with Dr. Sears himself!).
