I’m excited for tonight’s Super Bowl, because it should be a great game. I keep waffling in my pick – it seems foolish to bet against the two-time champion Steelers, but the Packers are playing so well. . . I just hope this year’s commercials are better than last year’s!
Fittingly, Amazon’s Video Game Deal of the Day is Madden NFL 11 – it’s $29.99 for the Wii, $36.99 for the Xbox, and $37.99 for PS3. Disclosure: I’m an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!
Also at Amazon, their Grocery Lightning Deals today include tuna in olive oil at 2 p.m. PST (24 cans for less than $42.15 or $1.76/can) and Plum Organics Pear & Mango Baby Food at 6 p.m PST (24 pouches for less than $31.83 or $1.33/pouch).
You can still get a $20 Barnes & Noble voucher for just $10 at Groupon, which is today’s Ebates Daily Double store so you can get 6% cash back! The Groupon is valid in store or online, and expires 4/10/11. This is an online deal that can be purchased by anyone regardless of location. You can also get a $10 credit when someone signs up for Groupon using your referral link and makes their first purchase (thank you if you join(ed) Groupon using my referral link!).
I spotted this great deal over at the Slickdeals SoCal Grocery thread: Buy $50+ in gift cards and a bouquet of flowers at Vons/Pavilions (and possibly all Safeway affiliates) and get a $10 Catalina. You can use the $3/1 bouquet coupon from the Joy of Football booklet (found in store, if your store has them), so basically you get free (or moneymaking) flowers for buying a gift card!
For the Mommas reports that some Rite Aid Wellness+ members have a printable coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase offer when they sign in to their Wellness+ account. Shannon says she doesn’t know what triggers the coupon, but since I’ve never gotten the offer, I’m guessing that it may have to do with how frequently you shop and how many points you have.
This month’s Barnes & Noble online story time is Pinklacious read by one of the authors, Victoria Kann. You can see the illustrations as you listen to the story being read. You can also access previous stories, so you can find something appropriate for your little boy if he balks at Pinkalicious. (Via Northern Cheapskate.)
