  • Morning Coffee: Last week of school this year

It’s the last week of school before LAUSD starts winter vacation. The kids will be out for three weeks. I have some ideas on how to fill the time, but it’s really quite a lot of time to fill!

I’m going to skip the drugstore starter deals again this week (does anyone miss them?). But I’m reading that at Walgreens, the Super Jingle Cash deal has been changed from last week so that the total purchase threshold is after Walgreens coupons but before manufacturer coupons. Also, the Super Jingle Cash generated last week to spend this week is being counted as a Walgreens coupon, and you can only use one per transaction. But the Super Jingle Cash should roll, so that you can use one and get one in the same transaction.

Also at Walgreens, Wild for Wags reports that the Hallmark money holders, which are on sale for 3/$2, are generating the Hallmark RR this week, so you can buy 2 for $1.34 and get a $2 RR, or buy 6 for $4 and get a $5 RR.
