  • Midmorning Coffee: Time to spend that Red Envelope Groupon

If you bought the Red Envelope Groupon, today is a good time to use it. Today only, Ebates is offering double cash back on Red Envelope purchases, so you should get back 10% of your purchase total. (In my experience using Ebates, the total purchase for purposes of cash back is before gift certificates, although I can’t guarantee anything.) Ebates also has a few special offers for Red Envelope, including 20% off or free shipping on orders of $75+.

There are new coupons at Coupons.com, including $4/1 any Benefiber, $0.55/1 Armour Pepperoni, and $0.55/1 Treasure Cave Blue Cheese. The Benefiber coupon is so high value with no size restrictions that you should be able to get some for free. Links via Escalate Media Network

Amazon’s Holiday Lightning Deals today include a Starbucks Tazo Tea basket at 8 a.m. PST (for less than $55.34), the Sound of Music Collector’s Edition at 9:30 (for less than $59.99), a Lego set at noon (for less than $21.99), and an organic cotton blanket at 8 p.m. (for less than $11.49). Disclosure: I’m an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!

Also, Toy Story Mania! for the Wii is just $19.99, which is half off the list price.

Plus get EA Sports Active 2 for just $59.99, which is 40% off list price. We have the first EA Active, and we all liked it (and it was a lot more effective than Wii Fit or Wii Fit Plus).

While we’re talking video games, I’ll recommend Wii Party, which we just started playing after receiving it as a gift. It’s $5 off at Amazon ($45.54), and it’s a lot of fun – a little challenging for a five-year-old in cooperative mode, but we still beat the first round in a reasonable amount of time. I can see myself playing it alone when the kids aren’t around too, LOL.

Get a printable coupon for $2 hot drinks at Caribou Coffee today only. (You can also just show the coupon on a mobile device instead of printing it.)

Borders Rewards members can use this printable coupon for 50% off the list price of any item to get discounted toys, including Lego and Playmobil. Borders Rewards is free to join, and I’ve been using these coupons lately to get cheap Legos. In fact, I’ll probably pick up a set with this coupon for something to do during the upcoming three weeks of winter vacation.

Send an Old Orchard Juice e-card and you and your recipient will both get a Buy One, Get One Free Coupon for Old Orchard Healthy Balance juice drinks. (Via Common Sense with Money.)
