Kudos to the LA Times customer service. I had emailed them on Sunday morning to complain about the missing Smart Source insert, and they delivered a replacement paper yesterday morning. I did follow my own advice of specifying the desired remedy, and asked in my email that they either provide me with the insert or credit my account.
