  • Morning Coffee: Busier now than three months ago . . .

Three months ago, I worked full-time at an office in downtown Los Angeles. But then I quit when school started and I’ve loved being a work-at-home blogger mom who can walk her son to school and pick him up every day, and be an actively involved parent. And I knew I’d be busy, but I’m so much busier than I thought I would be – even this week, which I thought would be easy but has turned out to be just as crazy as last week. So I have some posting to catch up on and hopefully I’ll be able to find time to do just that! In the meantime, though, enjoy these deals:

Keep your eye out for a $5 off $5 purchase Hallmark coupon in these magazines.

Get a printable coupon for $1/2 Betty Crocker cookie mixes. (Via Printable Coupons and Deals.)

Get a printable coupon for $0.75/1 Hellman’s or Best Foods product. Use it at Ralphs to get mayo for just $1.49. (See more Ralphs deals this week.)

Zakka Life posted instructions on how to make a Japanese money envelope, which I didn’t even know was possible.

The Happy Housewife has a recipe for Beef Nacho Casseroles, which looks good for using up the last of a bag of tortilla chips.

I love Scribbit‘s idea of having family food tastings, especially of healthy foods like apples.
