  • Review & Giveaway: Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes

When the folks at WetOnes asked me to review and host a giveaway of WetOnes Antibacterial Hand Wipes, I readily agreed. I love these things! They come in canisters, travel packs and individual packets, so they’re easy to keep on hand at all times. And most importantly, they kill 99.98% of germs.

I’ve been using WetOnes wipes to clean the boys’ hands when we can’t get to get a bathroom to wash hands, like when we’re leaving the park. I’ve also used WetOnes to clean down tables and chairs at restaurants, and before eating. The boys are typical youngsters and are always touching things, so I really like being able to kill off germs on the go.

I prefer WetOnes to hand sanitizer gels because the wipes are more gentle. Hand sanitizer has been pretty rough on my hands, whereas I haven’t experienced any issues with dry skin from using WetOnes. I also like that the wipes aren’t just killing germs, they’re also physically removing dirt – I can see it come off when I wipe the boys’ hands before we leave the park.

Alex hasn’t started kindergarten yet (that’s right around the corner!), and I’m thinking that I’ll have to pick up a box of the individual packets so I can pack one for his lunch each day. I know they probably go to the bathroom before lunch to wash hands, but I suspect an antibacterial wipe would be a good line of additional defense, especially as cold and flu season arrives.

Through September 8, 2010, you can enter the WetOnes Back to School Sweepstakes for a chance to win $2,500 in cash for back to school supplies and 99 WetOnes Antibacterial travel packs for the classroom.

You can enter up to four times (one for each type), and you must complete the form once per entry. Only one entry of each type per email address will be counted. I’ll select the winners using Random.org and announce them here on CFO as well as contact them by email. Winners must respond within 24 hours, otherwise their prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be selected.

The giveaway ends at 9:00 p.m. PDT on September 9, 2010, and is open to U.S. residents only. Good luck!

Disclosure: WetOnes provided me with a canister of wipes for this review and is providing the prize. All opinions are my own. Read the full CFO disclosure policy for more information.
