    The LA Times is going to publish a database that shows how students fare under LAUSD teachers in third through fifth grade. Supposedly, the database will more accurately depict how good teachers actually are. I was talking with a private school administrator yesterday, and he sympathetically said that he wouldn’t want to be the principal who has to deal with calls from parents of the students in the class of teachers who got poor ratings in the database.
