  • My Rite Aid Scenario this week

I’ll have the Rite Aid weekly deals later this weekend, hopefully with an explanation of the changes made at Rite Aid in the last few months. In the meantime, here’s the scenario that I plan to do:

    1 Blink Tears $7.99
    2 Old Spice Body Wash/Deodorant 2/$7
2 Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo $2.99 each

    – $5 off $20 purchase from Rite Aid Video Values
    – $2/1 Blink from 5/16 RP or printable
    – B1G1 Old Spice from 4/18, 5/2 or 6/6 P&G
    – 2 x $1/1 Johnsons Baby Product from 6/6 RP

    Pay: $8.47 + tax
Receive: $7.99 SCR for Blink + $4 +UP coupon for Old Spice
    Net: $3.52 profit (minus tax)

I haven’t been able to find much info on the +UP coupons yet, but it looks like they’re the Rite Aid equivalent of ECBs and RRs, so you can use them like cash on your next purchase. Squinting at the wording on the ad, they seem more like RRs in that they can’t be adjusted down, i.e., your purchase total must be at least as much as the value of the coupon. I’ll pass along more info as it comes my way.
