  • Morning Coffee: Rite Aid’s Wellness+ Program

I’ve been meaning to write about Rite Aid’s Wellness+ Program, which has been around for a few months now and is their version of a store loyalty card. When you join, you’ll receive member only savings and Wellness+ points, including a one-time, 10% off shopping pass for every 125 points you earn, up to 500 points; 10% off every eligible non-prescription purchase when you earn 500 points; and 20% off every eligible non-prescription purchase when you earn 1,000 points. You’ll also get a $5 off $25 purchase coupon when you register online. Plus, every week now, there are in-store deals that earn you +UP coupons at the end of your receipt when you make a qualifying purchase and use your Wellness+ card. +UP coupons can be used to pay for non-prescription purchases, much like ECBs at CVS. I’ll update the How to Play The Drugstore Game at Rite Aid post with this info, as well as the nuances of the program as I learn them. Rite Aid links via Logical Media

Coupons has new coupons to print, including $1/1 Tropicana Trop50, $1.50/1 Aveeno Nourish Shampoo or Conditioner (which you can use in CVS’s sale next week), $2/2 Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion, and $1/2 TGI Friday’s snacks. Links via Logical Media

Safeway (including Vons & Pavilions) has updated its coupon policy to specify that it “will accept valid manufacturer coupon that displays another retailer’s logo or name only if such coupon is for a specific item.”

There are some new coupons at, including $1/1 Keebler cookies and $1/1 Rice Krispies Treats 8 ct. or larger. The other coupons have been there for a while, but it appears that they may have been reset.

If you don’t have a Walgreens nearby, here’s a scenario for getting 6 Old Spice body washes at Target for 33 cents each.

Speaking of Walgreens, Wild for Wags reports that you’ll get a $1 RR when you buy Lysol toilet bowl cleaner, which is on sale buy one, get one free. There were coupons in the 6/6 SS – depending on which one your area got, you’ll pay 99 cents for 2 or get them free after RR. Wild for Wags also has a scenario for getting 7 Old Spice products for 26 cents + tax. Common Sense with Money has a slightly different scenario for getting 8 Old Spice products for free.
