Remember Caregiver’s Marketplace, which last year gave rebates for buying Huggies diapers and training pants? I was able to stop buying diapers by the end of last year, but I know many people were disappointed that Huggies weren’t included in this year’s rebates. So I wanted to share the news that their PR person emailed yesterday: they’re going to launch a new program called MomSmartValues in a few months, which will work just like Caregiver’s Marketplace – buy your favorite products, and send in the form and receipts for your rebate. Visit MomSmartValues to let them know what kind of products you want to see included in the program.
If you have a kid who loves Star Wars (like I do), here’s a great deal: the Star Wars the Clone Wars: Republic Heroesgame for the Nintendo DS is just $6.82 at Amazon, and you’ll get a $5 MP3 download credit with your purchase (if you haven’t gotten one already, since it’s one credit per customer). I think I may have already gotten the credit, but I’m going to pick this up for Alex anyway because it’s such a great price. It might be too hard for him, but I can always set it aside for a few months if it is. (Via Common Sense with Money.) Disclosure: I’m an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!
Just a reminder that Ralphs deals will go up this evening.
While I didn’t write a new post for the Ways to Make & Save Money series this week, but sqlgurl just left a great comment on #4, Cook More & Eat In. She offers some specific suggestions on planning your menu that are well worth reading. Thanks, sqlgurl!
