If you went to CVS last week and got coupons from the magic scanner, then you almost certainly got coupons for $1/1 CVS paper product and $1/1 CVS skin care product. If you still have the coupons, then they’ll work perfectly on the selected varieties of tissue that are 99 cents this week, and the cocoa butter stick, which is 99 cents. Even though the coupon is for $1 off, it doesn’t beep so you actually get 1 cent of overage.
Through May 15, Amazon is offering 15% off all Britax car seats.I am debating getting a Frontier(or two) so if you have any opinions on that seat, please let me know. Disclosure: I’m an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!
I posted from my Droid for the first time yesterday about free Lunchables at Vons/Pavilions/Safeway (using an app called Blogaway). It worked surprisingly well, so look for more of that sort of posting when I stumble upon deals.
Speaking of Vons/Pavilions/Safeway, for the first time I’m seeing some differences in their online pricing versus their in-store pricing. The specific item I see a difference in is their gallons of organic milk, which are $5.49 in store, but $6.09 online. I’m hoping the discrepancies will be limited to just a few items, because I like being able to look prices up before I head out to the store.
There are new coupons at Shortcuts.com, including a $1/1 Wesson Oil (good at Safeway stores only).
A Thrifty Mom explains how you can get two cases of paper for as low as $3.05 at Staples this week.
Note: I’ll be posting more lightly this week, and there will be no Rite Aid Starter Deals or Ways to Make & Save Money post today. But look for lots of giveaway winners this week – good luck!
