I went to Albertsons for the first time every yesterday, and it was an extremely pleasant experience. The store itself was quite nice, it was easy to get a savings card at the customer service desk, and the cashier didn’t blink when I handed over my doublers. I would have gone back for a second transaction, but I had both boys with me and they were driving me nuts. (Why must siblings bicker so much???) I may go back before the doublers expire, but the store is quite the trek, so probably not. I’ll have to see if the matchups I can do are worth it. I really wish they didn’t limit customers to three doublers per transaction. If the limit was higher, the trek out there would be more worthwhile. But I hope they see a nice spike in sales this week to give them incentive to keep the doublers coming.
Amazon continues its Rubbermaid sale – the 12-Piece Lock-its Setis currently $10.50, and the 18-Piece Easy Find Lid Setis just $9.99. I have two Lock-its sets from the last sale, and while they’re not quite as leak-proof as my Lock&Locks, I’ve been using them a lot because they’re a nice size and the plastic is extremely sturdy. Disclosure: I’m an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!
The other Amazon deal I wanted to mention is the Deal of the Day:Futurerama: The Complete Collection for $84.99 (list price $199, Amazon’s regular price $119).
Crazy 8 is opening some new stores in the LA area and possibly elsewhere. If you’re on their email list, keep your eyes open for a Grand Opening email coupon for $10 off a $30 purchase. Crazy 8 is the cheaper cousin of Gymboree (like Old Navy is to Gap) and I find their clothes to be slightly thinner but still of good quality. And the price is better than Gymboree, so of course that makes me happy.

Speaking of free burritos, if you signed up for the free Evol burrito last year, keep your eyes open for an email with instructions on how to claim it. I received an email earlier this week, which said that the offer would expire on 3/31 (so of course I haven’t gotten around to following the instructions yet).
Today’s the last day to use the $10 Shutterfly credit I told you about last week. That’s mostly a reminder to myself.
