    1. Rebecca says:

I just got back from Walgreens in Pasadena, and it looks like our Dr. Scholl's prices are much higher than elewhere. The men's were, at the cheapest, $14.99. I ended up grabbing two women's which were labeled as $10.99 but rang up as $13.49… it was a very frustrating and expensive trip, since I really didn't need the insoles (though I am a teacher, so I guess they will come in handy). Even with $5 RR I still paid a $15.

    2. Chief Family Officer says:

@Rebecca – Alas, SoCal prices do tend to be higher than they are elsewhere. I also find that they vary by store, and I don't think it's entirely to do with the affluence of the neighborhood. So you may want to check a different store if there are other Walgreens near you. Also, if the shelf was labeled $10.99, store personnel will usually honor the shelf price without a problem. (I think they're legally required to but it's not my area of expertise.)

    1. Anonymous says:

Do you think the mail in rebate will work even if the razor isn't the same kind?

    2. Chief Family Officer says:

@Anon – Mmm, you're right. Thanks for pointing out that the rebate is for men's razors. I've crossed out the deal!
