  • Planning my Walmart trip

No Morning Coffee today, because I’ve been busy planning my weekend shopping trips to Ralphs, Pavilions, Walgreens and Walmart.

The Mega Savings Event continues at Ralphs, and I can’t decide if I should buy the Capri Sun or not. Does anyone’s kid play T-ball and if so, do you ever have to supply juice for the kids?

I’m looking forward to the cereal deal at Pavilions, which is part of a buy 4, save $4 deal. Although Cheerios and Nature Valley granola bars are pictured in the ad, there are quite a few General Mills cereals included in the sale and after a $1 off coupon, they’ll be 50 cents per box. Moneywise Moms has this week’s deals.

I’ll have a separate post with my plans to roll my Register Rewards at Walgreens this week. There’s a moneymaker on Dove Men+Care and cheap Hefty ziptop bags.

Finally, I go to Walmart only a few times a year, but I’m going to be near one tomorrow. If it’s not raining too hard, I plan to stop by and pick up some of the free and cheap items. Couponing to Disney has a great list of those items, and not only is there a link to print it at the end of the post, but you can delete the deals you’re not interested in. I’m expecting at least some of the prices to be a little higher than those listed, since that’s par for the course here in LA.

In the meantime, head over to the Festival of Frugality for a roundup of great articles. I have to thank the host for making my post about saving money by cooking more and eating in an Editor’s Pick!

Take a look at the toddler boys' clothes on clearance at Walmart. I just posted about all the great stuff I found there marked down to $1 or $3.

Yes, every time my son has played t-ball or baseball we've supplied snacks once or twice per season for the whole team. They love Capri Sun – I usually get the Roaring Waters ones.

      Thanks for the tip, Gina!

@Stephanie – Thank you SO much! And I'm glad you included the flavor recommendation, I never would have picked that one 🙂
