  • Morning Coffee: What’s up with Coupons.com?

    I love Coupons.com. I think they’re the single best source for printable coupons, and I usually print them through MyPoints to help me earn free gift cards. But the last couple of days (and yes, I usually do print coupons every day, as new deals arise and new coupons are released), I’ve had some difficulty printing my coupons. Two nights ago, the site was just unbelievably slow. I printed once, and then the second time, I gave up. Last night, coupons I’d previously printed no longer showed “limit reached” and were clickable, but even though I was able to select them, they didn’t print. I hope this isn’t going to be an ongoing issue with Coupons.com. Anyone else had trouble? Disclosure: Those are affiliate links since I do love Coupons.com, so any of their coupons that you print through a link on CFO will benefit this site at no cost to you – thank you!

    I had trouble accepting that little girls really do love My Little Pony but my friend K.’s daughter adores them (they’re rather silly looking, but then I only have boys). Just in case you know such a little girl too, Fistful of Coupons has a couple of scenarios to get them for less than $3 each. (Via Bargain Jargon.)

    Angelenos may be interested to know that Amazon has a one-year subscription to Los Angeles Magazineon sale for $4.95. Marc and I enjoy this magazine for its LA-centric info, and that’s a great price for a year-long subscription. Disclosure: I’m an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!

    Christian Clippers has this week’s Vons/Pavilions deals and Stater Bros. deals.

    Get printable coupons for Special K products. Is it me, or has Kellogg’s really been pushing these lately? Maybe it’s because of the new year, and the resolutions to be healthy.

    There’s a CVS coupon for $5 off a $20 purchase but it’s only good at Northern California stores. Carrie, that’s you – I hope you feel up to it! (Via I Heart CVS.)

    You may be able to get 3 Home Made Simple coupon booklets when you click on each of the Cascade images here. These are fabulous booklets so I highly recommend this offer. (Via Free Stuff 4 Free.)

    There’s a Catalina deal on Ziploc bags at Schnuck’s that’s a moneymaker. I totally wish there was a store near me – imagine getting paid to buy Ziplocs!

    1. Thanks for the links! I am trying to garner the nerve to actually sell the microwave! It's sitting in my garage right now. 🙂

    2. I had the same problem with Coupons.com. The Kraft cheese coupon was available for me to print, so I clicked to print it but it didn't print with the rest of my coupons.
      Must be a glitch.

    3. I selected 3 coupons on coupons.com last night and only one printed. I wish I could print through My Points but it uses Smart Source and wont print right for me, but I usually have no trouble printing from coupons.com. I dont understand why My Points uses a different printer even though its accessed through coupons.com.

    4. Chief Family Officer says:

      @Camille – Knowing you, you'll do it eventually. 🙂

      @Lisa and CJ – I'm so glad I'm not the only one with issues, but check again. The cheese coupon actually has reset now.

      @CJ – Weird, I am able to print both Smart Source and Coupons.com coupons from MyPoints …
