  • It’s a slow week at Walgreens . . .

This week’s Walgreens deals aren’t as bounteous as they’ve been the last couple of weeks, but that’s okay with me. There isn’t much to roll, especially since this week’s Register Rewards deals aren’t things I’m interested in. But do keep in mind that there are some monthly RR deals that you can use to keep rolling. Next week’s deals don’t look that great either, and I can see myself just buying the monthly items to keep my RR’s from expiring.

In the meantime, here’s the transaction I did for this week:

    3 Quaker oats $1.50 each
    1 filler 89 cents

    – 3 x $1/1 printable coupons
    – $1.50 RR

    Paid: 89 cents + tax

I still have $16.50 to roll next week, so spending $1.50 on cheap oatmeal was a no-brainer for me. I use a lot of this stuff, and 50 cents for a small canister is my stock-up price.

Incidentally, one thing Drugstore Game Padawan Hayden asked was for the best deal on Tylenol/acetaminophen this week. There’s a $4/1 Tylenol in-ad coupon in the Walgreens ad, and it can be combined with the $1/1 Tylenol coupon in yesterday’s newspaper, so hopefully that combination creates a great deal if anyone needs Tylenol immediately.

    1. The deals weren't AWESOME at Walgreens this week, but they had a few good ones. I think its the best place to get the Olay deal this week… in my opinion…
