Now that the Super Bowl is over (with the worst collection of Super Bowl commercials ever!), we can turn our attention to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Did you realize that they start this weekend?!
You might recall from previous Olympics that Coca-Cola is a huge sponsor of the Games, and to get everyone in the spirit, they’ve created a cute little fake organization called the International Federation of Snowball Throwing. The IFST has its own blog at snowballthrowing.com, which is a fun, family-friendly site to get you excited about the Olympics and playing in the snow. There’s even a
silly petition to add snowball throwing to the Olympic Games, and the IFST “president” is on Twitter.
Coke and the IFST want to help you get ready for the Olympics, so they’re giving two lucky CFO readers an IFST T-shirt and three other readers a collector’s edition bottle set. Winners will be randomly selected (along with their prizes, so your prize will be a surprise!).
To enter this giveaway, visit the IFST site, then come back and fill out the form below to let me know something you learned or liked there. If you’re reading this in a feed aggregator or email, you may need to click through to the post to reach the form. The giveaway ends at 8:00 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, February 9, and is open to U.S. residents.
