  • Morning Coffee: A Few Deals Updates

Over the weekend, I shared a couple of deals that now need updating. First, the shipping cost for the 50 prints for 50 cents deal at Snapfish came out to $3.44 for me, plus tax. Obviously, I do not understand their pricing chart.

Second, the prices at my local Walgreens stores are a bit higher than they are in other parts of the country. The Reach Ultra Clean toothbrushes that are listed at $3.99 by most folks were $4.39 at one store and $4.29 at another. These will get you 61 or 71 cents of overage instead of $1.01. Also, the Stayfree pads that are apparently $5.99 in other areas were $6.29, so not free. If you’re in LA, take the Buy One, Get One Free Stayfree coupons to Rite Aid to really get them for free this week. At least the Finish dishwasher detergent was $3.49, so free after coupon and RR.

Amazon has another round of $5 magazine subscriptions. The offer is good through January 9 and seems intended to capitalize on New Year’s resolutions – included mags are EatingWell,Vegetarian Times, and Fitness.Disclosure: I’m an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!

The Toy Lightning Deals have finally ended at Amazon, but they still have New Year’s Deals on toys, including up to 50% off on girls’ toys, up to 60% off on boys’ toys, and up to 70% off action figures. There’s also a sale on Hasbro Family Games, including Pictionaryfor $12.99, and Cranium(one of my favorites) for $14.99.

Speaking of Eating Well, they have printable coupons on organic and natural foods, like Annie’s Homegrown cereal, Mori-Nu Tofu, and Simply Organic spices and seasonings.
